Wow I have not done a blog post in quite some time and this might be an official record for me....I am going to do better. Some things here at the homefront have kept me quite busy for the last week now. We got the bug to redo our kitchen. Just decided we were tired of looking at the white walls and WENT FOR IT FULL ON COLOR! Well at least for me it was a bold step to say the least. ;-) I have thoroughly enjoyed the process and we are in the middle of it being done...disaster of course, painting walls, painting all the cabinets and distressing them, heck I even painted and distressed all the light switch and plug in outlet covers! I can't wait for the transformation to be complete so the mess can GO AWAY. Just a little more painting of the cabinets, removing and adding new hardware, a new floor, and countertops and we are FINISHED. Here are some Work In Progress pictures...
I think that I have the floor all picked out and not soo sure about the countertops as we dont want to spend the MOTHERLOAD on them, either. I am soo excited and this process just couldn't go fast enough for me ;-)
Other than the kitchen I have been busy working my part time job and loving every single minute of it, but I must admit it is taking away a lot of my creative time. I MUST do something to make sure I pencil in some time each week to relax and let me get my creative jouices flowing again! Any suggestions would be MUCH APPRECIATED!

Oh joy oh joy the weather is getting warmer and I have been suffering with some major spring fever!! Supposed to be almost 60 degrees today! A far cry from -25!So of course with the warmer weather comes my compulsive behavior to start moving things and cleaning under it and just an all around good scrubbing of the house. I am suffering this morning from the endeavors I took on yesterday with the dust!! I shampooed carpets, scrubbed the fridge inside and out and UNDER! And I am not done yet! Hello dust allergies!

I do have just one layout to share that I created for the new contest at Treasured Scrapbooking. The were lots of different restrictions and requirements for this challenge and I usually dont do very well with this kind of challenge, but got it done, nonetheless. I am actually SHOCKED that i am posting this pic of me just a few hours after giving birth to my thrid baby, so be gentle on me, k??
