Random Blatherings!

The fall weather is finally settling in and it makes me soo happy to feel the crisp chilly air in the morning. I am under no circumstances ready for the long and freezing Iowa winter months, tho. Let's not go too fast, K mother nature?

My October reveals for Treasured Scrapbooking are up now for their kits! I must say that this kit is the most vibrant and FUN loving kit I have created with. Normally I am NOT a vibrant-y color-y scrapper (if that even made any sense) but it all just came soo easy! Thanks Leslie for putting together such BEAUTIFUL kits and for loving and respecting your dt the way you do! I have never in all my scrappy years met someone just as nice and kind and loving and understanding and happy go luck and MODEST as Leslie is!!! I guess I am gettin all sentimental and sappy cuz I just received my last dt kit for November from Treasured Scrapbooking! Yes I know hard to believe but my term there is up in November. But the good news is that Leslie is having a new dt call!!! You can read all about that DT call and its' requirements RIGHT HERE! Lerslie is also conducting a call for cardmakers as well RIGHT HERE!!

I have nothing scrappy related to share cuz I have been working on getting my blog back up and running and I FOUND MY PLAYLIST! It's the little things in life that make me very happy!
And was surfing the web and came across these 'stickers' you make....now how fun is this? I need to play around a little more with them but we have quite the troop of peeps already!

Messed it all up...

was tryiing to play around with the look of my blog and POOF....there goes all of my links, my playlist is gone, and so are my blinkies! So if you come by here in the next few days and dont recognize some things, be patient as I am trying to spruce things up a bit here and there!! Thanks!

And today just happens to be my birthday! I am getting older but most days feeling very youthful and I thank God every day for that feeling! My kids help keep me busy and my passion for creating keeps me grounded. I know that this year in my life is going to bring soo much change and greatness and prosperity even in these times of a gloomy economy but I refuse to think of anything less!

since they tell the best stories, right? Had Creepy Camping this weekend and the kids had a blast....weather could have been a little warmer but we survived all the same!















My days are starting to calm down a little bit and I plan on taking full advantage of that and digging out my desk and getting back to the scrapping that I soo dearly miss!

I can't even put it into words yet......

I am having a difficult time seeing the monitor let alone typing what I am about to type....

I JUST WON THE FIRST EVER JENNI BOWLIN DESIGN TEAM SEARCH!!!!! I won first place!! $500 in cash, $250 in product, and a guest spot on her blog. This REALLY is a dream come true for me. The style the Jenni Bowlin represents is soo what I am all about and I do believe this is the perfect fit. Anything vintage-y, non traditional, and can be found at a flea market, I am all over it. I am truly blessed to be typing here today telling you this news.....how did I get sooo lucky?? Am I dreaming?? WOW I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY!!!

October Kits at Treasured Scrapbooking

are soo full of color and such COOL embellishments this month!! I am dying to create some more layouts just as soon as I can get some sit down time! I have made two so far to share with you all!





I hate to sound too pessemistic but I can not wait for this week to be over!! We have been gone every night to soccer and football games, I have been cleaning the house like mad and I still need to get ready for creepy camping this weekend. i think after all this hulaballoo I will have to collapse!

Run Run Run...

seems like the story of my life as of lately and this week brings more of the same! Monday, soccer, Tuesday, football, Wednesday, soccer, Thursday, football, Friday Creepy camping!

we just got home from a beautiful camping trip this weekend. The weather could not have been more perfect and the kids had a blast! Did not see much of the Bman as he made lots of new friends and was galavanting around the campgrounds playing football, dodgeball, and plain ole being a boy! Took 114 pictures of randomness so thought I would share some!



Was lucky enough to get my neice and nephew to stand still for a couple of photo ops while making laps around a tree...AINT THEY CUTE??



October is just right around the corner! I am amazed at how fast this school year is already going! Bman and Averee both missed school last week due to a flu bug. way too early for that to be happening but we are all on the road to recovery now thank goodness!

So as you can see I have literally had NOT TIME to scrap! I promise in the coming days there will be lots to see here with previews and reveals of my dt goodies!

I guess I need to find a reason...

to blog more often. It has become whirlwind like here in the household of crazies and I have barely had time to scrap! What's this world coming to??

I am praying each day that more free time comes up for me to be creative, but it seems more than likely not. Kids are full swing into soccer and flag gootball and games start soon! I can't wait to see them!

just another random layout detailing my fears of losing my little one...she is growing too fast and it's tearin me apart inside. Felt kind of theraputic to do this...

i feel like she is slipping right through my fingers. I fear I am letting her grow too fast but still letting her be the 'baby'. I fear the day she doesn't want to snuggle with her momma and let me smother her with a million kisses and hugs. Let her be little for just a bit longer please!
